Creating coupons with Spiral Scratch is very simple and easy to do. You can have high-quality printable coupons created in minutes. Just follow this coupon creation tutorial:

1. Log in to your Spiral Scratch account dashboard

Use your username and password to log in.

2. Click on the "New Coupon" link

On your dashboard you will see the "My Coupons" module used to keep track of your coupon offers. In order to create a new coupon, click "New Coupon". Piece of cake!

3. Design your coupon

You have many options to choose from when designing a coupon. Here is a list of features:

Background:
Choose one of our backgrounds or upload your own. Size of backgrounds are 448px wide x 249px tall. You may design anything for your background, there are no limits. However you want to aware of coupon text and bar codes that might interfere with your background design.

Logo:
Upload your logo within this tab. Spiral Scratch will remember the logo that you have uploaded, so that the next time you build a coupon, just select from the "Previous Logo" drop down menu and select one of your previous logos. We recommend that you name your logos something memorable if you have multiple versions.

Pre-Headline:
A line of text that goes directly above your main headline. This is good for a lead into your coupon headline, such as "We want to off you..." and then following the headline.

Headline:
This is your primary coupon offer text. This is where you should place important text for the best results.

Sub-Headline:
Text that appears as a followup to your headline with more detail.

Disclaimer:
Use this text to explain any technical details, such as "Offer for 1 time use."

Bar Code:
If you use a barcode system, enter your barcode here.

Promo Code:
If your company uses an internet promotion or coupon code, enter that code in this space.

Expiration:
Coupon expiration date.

Security:
Enabling the security feature will add a unique code to your coupon viewers coupons. The code will change each time a customer views a coupon, and the code will stay unique for that specific customers computer. As an example, if a coupon is received by a customer with the unique code of #00012, that code will remain #00012 on that customers computer even if they refresh their screen or try to print the coupon multiple times and use it more than once.

You can check the validity of your security codes using the security control panel, located next to a coupon within your "My Coupons" module. When you enter a code, Spiral Scratch will check the validity of the coupon and alert you if it has been used more than once, or is invalid. Spiral Scratch will also let you know if the coupon is valid.

5. Save the coupon

Save your coupon! It was as easy as that. Simply add your coupon information and you are done. Now you can start taking advantage of coupons for Facebook, your website and more!
