What better way to send your customers an incentive to encourage them to make a purchase than a coupon by email.
On your Spiral Scratch dashboard, you have a contact manager. This will allow you to add customers to your database that wish to receive coupon offers.
Broadcast Name:
This is for you to keep track of your campaign name and track results
From:
This is who the email is from. Keep it simple and use your company name.
Email Subject:
Keep this simple as well. Junk mail filters tend to pick up wordy email subjects.
Once you click the "Send Email" button, you will be directed back to your dashboard. The Spiral Scratch email delivery system uses a queue, so your coupons will take a few minutes to deliver. Once delievered, your coupon email campaign will be marked as "Sent" on your Coupontank dashboard.
I did everything as described here, and once I pressed send email, nothing happens, the email campaign page simply reload. I don't think any thing has been sent. And I have tried four times. What happened?
It looks like you tried to send 160 emails out to your customer list, and our system failed to inform you that you are on a free account, and that you are limited to 1 email per month. This has been resolved. If you try to send more than 1 coupon email, Coupontak will flag you and let you know that you are unable to do so.
The free account is really intended to let you try the service, and is fairly limited. If you would like to test the email service, you could create a new contact list with 1 contact (usually yourself) and test the email. If you need serious emails per month, I would suggest the premium plan.
Thanks!
I want to add my coupons to my html email newsletter, not use your email campaign system. How can I do that?
your csv upload will not work. any sugestions
I can't tell if my email went out. I sent it out to one contact, plus myself. Then I read the previous posts in this help section. I deleted the other person's name from my contact list and only sent it to myself. Still nothing. How do I know if it went to the person or not?
